The Controller:
The controller is very similar to the original Playstation
controller, once it is in your hand, you can play. There are no issues with
button placement or unfamiliarity etc... All the original buttons analog sticks
exist. The controller has a slight 'rubbery' feel to it and feels very solid and
well built.

Controller Close Ups...
The controller feels light,
sometimes a little 'front heavy', but it is very comfortable to hold and use.
The black and grey look works and makes the controller look smart. On the
underside is an off and off switch (to turn the controller on and off as needed)
and two metal contacts (which are used with the Desktop Charger).
Also on the top of the controller is the channel select jumper switches, which
as mentioned before, need to be set to the same as the switches on the Receiver
and the AC adaptor plug for using the second charging option:

Using the Controller:
Once I had read and digested the supplied
instructions, I simply charged the controller in the Desktop Charger for a
couple of hours. With some charge in the controller I could test it out.
I left the default channel settings (as they are set out of the box) as they are
and plugged the receiver into the first controller port on my Playstation 2.
The Channel LED on the controller lit up, indicating that everything had been
set up correctly. I tested the controller with a whole host of games, each one
worked flawlessly and I had no issues sitting on my sofa, a few metres away from
the actual console.

It was also fun playing games from the kitchen
- the signal went through the wall and into the other room! As the buttons and
everything else on the controller is the same as the originals, I could play any
game I wanted with no control issues or confusion.
The controller worked just as before, when I plugged the AC adaptor into it, for
'in-game' charging.
Conclusion:
The Cosmo Radio Frequency Wireless Controller (for PS/PS2™) is a well
built, designed and a solid product. It does exactly what it says on the box
with great performance.
Being similar to the original Playstation controller, any user can just
pick it up and getting playing. The controller has a range of 10 metres, which
is plenty and a generous 15 hours of game play on a full charge should be
adequate for most users - plus you can 'charge as you play' using the AC adaptor
plugged into the controller (instead of charging using the Desktop Charger).
Built into the controller is a neat little 'sleep' feature. If you do press any
of the controller buttons for more than four minutes, the controller 'sleeps' to
conserve battery power. Waking the controller is done by pressing any one of the
'select', 'start', 'turbo', 'slow', 'clear' or 'analog' buttons.
I am impressed by this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a
wireless controller solution. I think its so good, I might be purchasing another
to replace my second controller!
