Just thought I would share my first Danger Den Maze3 water block mod with everyone. Its quite a basic mod really but surprisingly one I haven't seen done before and it gives an amazing effect...
First of all I removed the
"Warranty Void" stickers which are stuck on the side of the Maze3 block, cracked
the seal and removed the Lucite top.
I lined this hole back up with the
Lucite top, marked it, and with a 5mm drill, drilled the Lucite top not all the
way through but just enough for a 5mm LED to fit all the way into the hole.
Even though I'm not usually a big fan of red I think I will be going with it on this occasion as it looks brilliant against the blue UV stuff in this case and really lights up the Maze3.
I will be doing the same to my Z-Chip block and GeForce 4 block when I get a bit time. |
